Uprising’s flagship bouldering, yoga and fitness facility in Christchurch was opened in August 2019. It is one of the biggest bouldering gyms in the Southern Hemisphere.
Designing and building our own bouldering wall was a chance for us to showcase our ability to create a unique, inspiring and functional climbing venue. Bespoke wooden details, curved walls, innovative spatial design, virtual-reality rendered climbing structures and mechanically adjustable training walls show what’s possible with a bit of Kiwi ingenuity!
The success of Uprising in providing a space for the Christchurch climbing community to come together, train, boulder and socialise has exceeded even our own expectations.
